Yingling Partners with CLC Business Group for Forum

GRAYSLAKE, Ill. – With the General Assembly back in Springfield for the spring legislative session, state Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, is inviting local business leaders to join him and the College of Lake County (CLC) Small Business Development & International Trade Center, for an economic development forum in late February.

“This meeting will provide for an open discussion of the state and local issues that continue to weigh on our area’s small business owners’ and economic leaders minds,” Yingling said. “The gathering is part of my continued work to make our state the go to place for business startups and a part of my on-going goal to be an open and accessible lawmaker to our area’s employers.”

Yingling’s Economic Development forum will be held on Wednesday, February 24 at the State Bank of the Lakes’ Community Room from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. The bank is located at 50 Commerce Drive in Grayslake. At the event, Yingling will share a legislative update, enlist policy feedback from area employers, and CLC will provide a presentation on the services they offer to local companies.

“We are pleased to join Representative Yingling for a conversation about state and local economic issues,” Frank Brisbois, Director of CLC Small Business Development and International Trade Center said of the partnership. Additionally, it is our goal to increase awareness about the variety of support and programming our center can provide companies, and we look forward to continued work to improve our region.”
